Food Bank

Thank you to everyone who replied to the urgent plea for foodbank items. Nearly 50kg of food
and household items were donated by Arnesby in December. The Foodbank box is always in the
Church porch, emptied weekly. Please continue to put any surplus goods that you have in the box

RIP Maurice Bown

R I P Maurice Bown
Maurice died on Saturday 19th December, aged 88.
Maurice was clerk to Arnesby Parish Council from 1997 to December 2011
Many villagers will remember his fine baritone singing, especially when he joined in with
Christmas Eve Carol singing round the village.

All 14 county waste sites back in business

All 14 county waste sites back in business

Visitors to sites need to book a slot in order to visit, so that social distancing can be observed, and restrictions on some waste types are still in place at some sites. Sites will continue to be open between 9am and 5pm.

Leicestershire County Council Re-Openning Waste Site

Plans being finalised for re-opening of seven county waste sites

The county council is putting the finishing touches to its plans to re-open seven of its recycling and household waste sites next week.
